The time is now
"I seek to find a home in my art for my chaotic desires, to utilise that wild and creative energy towards a useful end. Through years of practice, of talking and thinking about my art, I have slowly harnessed some of that tumultuous drive to create my own language of abstract painting.
"Each of my paintings is a statement of my reality at the moment of creation, they pin down moments in time that would otherwise be lost. By working in this manner, I become more self aware and better able to express myself. My work allows me to exist in the now."
Stewart Bremner, December 2011
