Stewart is an artist who was born in Edinburgh and has mostly lived there since. He makes Pop Art and has done for many years.

His current work still focuses on beauty and in an ongoing attempt to bring joy to the viewer. And whilst there is still the odd flower here and there and some post-war, pin-up style optimism, everything else has gotten a bit messy. Clashing colours and texture have made a noticable appearance.
